A Glimpse at EMRDA
Ethiopian Muslims Relief and Development Association (EMRDA) was established in the year 1994 as NGO and legally re-registered with the Charities and Societies Agency in 2009 with the objective of preventing abject poverty and unemployment through participation and sustainable integrated development. Over the past 24 years, it has been implementing multidimensional development Programs and made a significant contribution to the overall poverty reduction effort of the country. Read more
Vision
Seeing sustainably developed, peaceful and harmonious society in Ethiopia
Mission:
To improve the socio-economic conditions of the poor and marginalized communities in Ethiopia through providing access to basic social services, improving livelihoods, Peacebuilding, human rights advocacy, and addressing climate change, with women and youth empowerment.
Organizational Goal
The overall goal of EMRDA is to contribute to the overall National Development Goals and to the Global Sustainable Development Goals that the country has committed to.
