EMRDA signed Ethiopian Social Accountability Program 2 (ESAP 2) with EIFDDA.
EMRDA signed a two years project agreement with Ethiopian Interfaith Forum for Development Dialogue and Action (EIFDDA) with a budget obtained from Management Agency funded by World Bank. The project is titled as “Enhancing Community and Government Capacity for Effective, Efficient and Responsive Basic Service Delivery Social Accountability Program II” (ESAP 2). The project aims to contribute to the national endeavor of Poverty eradication through ensuring equitable, effective, efficient, responsive and accountable basic service delivery in Ethiopian and address issue of planning, monitoring and accountability in basic service delivery at woreda level in the contest of Ethiopia’s Five Years Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP), the protection of basic service (BPS) process through active participation of citizens. The project will be implemented in Jimma Zone at the Oromia region, Tiro afeta and Keresa woredas. The project will run for two years from October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2015 with a total budget of 1,222,711 ETB.
